Far more than talk about it; this conference will save lives

All profit from the conference will go directly to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) to help fund the purchase and operation of a new Thames lifeboat.

The boat will be shared between the Chiswick and Tower lifeboat stations, which rescued 225 people in 2009. The RNLI is funded purely by donations and events such as the SPW Conference.

The SPW Conference is one of the events organised by Team Life Matters, one of nine teams tasked with raising £350k in 2010 in the ‘RNLI Brawn Lifeboat Challenge'.

The money raised will be used to fund the purchase and operation of a new Lifeboat for the Thames. The teams are mentored throughout the challenge by Mr Ross Brawn, Team Principal, MERCEDES GP PETRONAS.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity registered in England and Wales (209603) and Scotland (SC037736).
The Safety and Performance at the Workplace Today Conference 2010 is organised by a team of volunteers working in the safety industry.
